Benefits of Beeswax

I have wanted to add candles to the available items in the shop since day one.  I originally had my mind set on soy candles because of they are safer, longer burning, and cleaner than paraffin wax.  Because life happens, I have been delayed several times in my attempts to add candles to my shop.  I have had time to do research over the last several months during the time that I have been waiting for the stars to align.  While soy candles are definitely a better option than paraffin, did you know that beeswax has even more benefits?

Although beeswax is considerably higher in price, it is worth the extra money.

  • 100% beeswax is all natural and chemical free.

  • Environmentally friendly and safe, non-toxic. Burn very clean with little smoke when trimmed properly as they are not oil-based. 100% beeswax candles are natural, undergoes no chemical processing and biodegradable.

  • Smell great as they are naturally scented by the honey and floral nectar in the honeycomb; carbon-neutral.

  • Have a high melting point (in fact the highest among all known waxes) which results in a significantly longer (2-5 times) burn time and drip very little, if any at all. This offsets their higher cost.

  • The only candle that emits negative ions to purify, cleanse, improve air quality, and invigorate the body. A natural ionizer!

  • Hypo-allergenic, benefit those with environmental allergies, sensitivities, and asthma.

I found all of this info in several different places but conveniently all of these and more are combined on THIS website

I don't know about you but I could use some fresh honey scented purity in my life!!
