We have spent years dreaming, planning, and preparing for this farm! Life, as it often does, has thrown us some curve balls. We are now the proud owners of 25 acres of forest! We are turning this gorgeous piece of land into the farm of our dreams
We decided along the way to farm the way we were raised… to leave things better than you found them. Rotational grazing as part of regenerative farming to minimize the impact livestock can have on the soil while maximizing the output of the soil.
We eventually want to be self-sufficient. We want a simple life style that allows for a higher quality of life. We want to be able to share some of our simple and high quality products with you.
The products that we make at Cedar Barrens Farm are made because we love them and we know you'll love them too.
As we continue to grow, we will be selling items that we love and believe in (whether they are handmade by us or someone else).
Our journey began modestly with a dozen backyard chickens, which sparked a commitment to sustainable agriculture.
In 2020, we took a significant step by purchasing 25 acres of land in Readyville Tennessee. We have embraced the principles of regenerative farming, and are focusing on restoring native grasses as we implement rotational grazing practices to enhance soil health and biodiversity.
We have since used our cows and pigs to clear the understory of our forest as we gradually turn our forest into a farm. We are excited to see where this journey takes us
